SOP Analysis of Bovine or Porcine Serum Albumin


Standard operating procedure for immunoblot analysis of bovine or porcine serum in extracts of processed meat products


To probe Western blots of SDS soluble extracts of processed meat products with anti-porcine albumin and anti-bovine albumin monoclonal antibodies in order to detect added porcine/bovine serum. Refer to SOP xxx 003 (Extraction of processed meat products prior to the analysis of added serum) to prepare SDS extracts.
